Coronavirus In India LIVE UPDATES: ABP News is conducting its flagship summit Shikhar Sammelan amid the coronavirus pandemic to hold extensive talks with the national leaders and know about their take and preparedness for battling the Covid-19 threat. In a unique initiative, due to lockdown, this time the summit is being conducted in the form of E-Shikhar Sammelan.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was the first speaker on the show. Addressing the problems of migrant labourers, he assured them that the government is prepared to bring them back to state and urged them not to walk.

India witnessed 1993 new Covid-19 cases and 73 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the Coronavirus tally of the country beyond 35,000 on Thursday, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said. While 25007 are active cases, 8888 people have recovered, and 1147 people succumbed to Covid-19.
